How does the gate signal work on the 115-108 Pro Blast Gate? Can it run with our dust collection system full-time?
iVac 4" Fully Automated Pro Blast Gate
All of our equipment is 480 3 phase. My question is, how does the gate get signaled to open? Where does the power for the signal come from? If I understand correctly the power to run the unit is off a 110v outlet. Just curious about the signal. Also, can these units be used and and still have our dust collection system run full time? 115-108 4" Fully Automated Pro Blast Gate

The Blast Gates will receive the signal from the Pro Tool Plus. The Plus clamps onto the power chord for the machine and senses the current running through the chord when you turn on/off the machine. Both the Pro Tool Plus and the Automated Blast gate need to be plugged into a 110 power source. If your collector runs full time you can still use the blast gates. The system is designed to always have one gate open so that the system does not build back pressure and cause problems.
