Most of the time the screws will need to be removed in order to easily replace the insert as the saw itself will trap it to keep it from sliding in and out.
To replace a unit insert, do I need to unscrew the aluminum body or just remove the replaceable insert? Infinity Tools Zero Clearance Insert (Z.C.I.) Plate for DeWalt 10" & 12" Non-Sliding Saws
After you have installed the complete unit and then want to change out the replaceable insert, do you have to completely unscrew and remove all the screws and the aluminum body in order to replace the insert?
