Tung Oil tend to be an industry catch all for many different types of finish so making a recommendation can be dificult. Odie's Oil can be applied over the existing finish, however for the best results I would recommend at least a light sanding before application and if possible removing the old/damaged finish and sanding to the proper grit to achieve your desired sheen. Odie's Oil recommends 72 hours dry time before use.
