The jig will need to maintain connection to the compressor to maintain vacuum.
Once a vacuum is established with your clamping device, can the Venturi Vacuum System be removed or must it stay connected? Infinity Tools Oval & Circle Cutter With Vacuum Base
Having never seen or used one of these vacuum clamping devices, once the vacuum is established (eg the base of the oval cutting jig is secured to the material), do you have to continue to run the compressor air through the Venturi Vacuum System to maintain the vacuum pressure? Or instead, once the vacuum is established (eg the base of the oval cutting jig is secured to the material), can the Venturi Vacuum System be removed from the base of the jig and placed out of the way of the routing operation? Thanks.
