Can I buy a 2 bearing separately? Would it work with a 1/2 spiral bit to follow an elliptical pattern? Infinity Tools Rub Collar for Shape-Up Shaper Cutters

Do you sell the 2" diameter (x 3/16" ID?) bearing by itself? I see it's available as part of a larger kit. Would you see a problem using such a bearing on a 1/2" diameter spiral bit? I would like to follow a pattern (an elliptical shaped metal patio table) with the bit but leave the resulting work piece 3/4" LARGER than the pattern. The opposite if rabbeting (smaller bearing than bit) Thank You.

The 2" bearing that is part of the RB-157 is custom made and not available individually. https://www.infinitytools.com/rb-157-... As far as your specific application is concerned, using the bearing on a smaller diameter bit instead of a larger should not be a problem whatsoever. Just be mindful of impact to the bearing from the side.
