I have a jig for a 1/2” lumber but need it for 5/8” ply. How should I position the gauge?

Got the smaller jig for another brand router bit. Could only get it to work on a 1/2 inch piece of lumber..I am using 5/8 thick ply for drawer sides. How do I position the gauge.

The thickness of the material being routed will not change the setup procedure when using the lock miter master jig. The jig gives you a reference point to align with the center of your material. If you are having trouble with the setup please see the video above that walks you through the setup procedure. you can also find a complete set of written instruction in the "documents" tab above.
