The Wixey readout has a different stack system made from a heavy aluminum extrusion which is required for the longer length. The readout itself mounts directly to the track and fence so that the readout is always in the same location as the fence. While you can mount the iGaging readout to the fence it is also designed to be able to mount remotely. The Wixey uses 2 AAA batteries while the iGaging uses a single CR2032 coin type battery. Both are extremely accurate.
