Can lapped miter joints be made on pieces wider than the coping sled's capacity? Is using a backup piece sufficient? Infinity Tools 1/2" Shank Lapped Miter Joint Router Bit Set w/ 3/4" Setup Block
Can you make lapped miter joints on pieces that are wider than the coping sled will allow? Want to make lapped miter joints on a 14 x 33 inch case with the joints cut on the 14 inch ends. Using 3/4" plywood. Would a backup piece behind the work piece be sufficient to do this safely?
