What can I do to close gaps on the face surfaces of joined material for a smooth finish?
Infinity Tools 1/2" Shank Finger Joint Router Bit
After several attempts, I am getting a gap on the face surfaces of the joined material. What can I do to close this gap for a nice face surface?

A small gap at the base of the joint is typically caused by the bit not quite cutting to full depth. I recommend double checking your fence setting otherwise the wedge shaped fingers will become tight before the top surface fully meets.
