2-1/4hp should do just fine. I would recommend somewhere between 16k and 18k rpm. MDF usually machines nicely so you should not have much issue.
Will my 2-1/4 HP router handle the Sr lock miter bit for 1” MDF? What speed should I use? Infinity Tools 1/2" Shank Lock Miter Jr. Router Bit
I have ordered the Sr lock miter bit to joint 1 inch MDF. Will my 2 1/4HP router be man enough and at what speed would you suggest I use.
