As long as the router is not a soft start motor the router speed controller should work for you just fine. Run time should not be an issue.
Can this work with a Hitachi TR-12 router? Is speed adjustable while running, and can it run for 30 minutes? Infinity Tools Router Speed Control 15 Amps
Would this work with a Hitachi TR-12 router, can you adjust speed while the router is running and does it work for an extended period of time(i.e., 30 minutes)?

Answer: The Router speed control will got from 0-10 ( max ) , it its not designed to be used with soft start routers.

Answer: I have no idea. I am not familiar with current fan motor technology. This speed controller is for non soft start brush type motors.
