How do I operate multiple tools without switching plugs? Do I need multiple boxes or does this control one tool?

How would I operate multiple tools without having to keep switching plugs from the tools to the box? Would I need multiple boxes? But then I'd have to keep switching the plug on my vac from box to box. Does this only control one tool at a time? Thanks

If you use the pro tools plus item 115-011, it would eliminates this issue for you. It attaches to the power cord of your machine and detects voltage when the machine is turned on, it sends a signal to the switch which activates the dust collector.
