You should be able to use the 1/4" kerf flat top blade on any saw that will accept the two outer blades of a traditional dado stack safely. RPM should not be a problem on any standard tablesaw. Job site saws with direct drive motors typically have a higher RPM than belt driven saws. Either type of saw will run at adequate RPM.
