Can a circular saw blade cut a 1/2" wide space between closely nailed 2 x 6 pine boards on a large deck?
Infinity Tools 8" Flat-Top Dado Saw Blade - 5/32" Kerf
I have a large deck (1,000 ft2) of 2 by 6 inch pine that were nailed down too close to each other, many are even touching and rainwater just sits on top. Is it feasible to use a circular saw blade to cut a space of say 1/2 inch wide between the boards?

We do not recommend our flat top blades for use in a handheld saw, they are specifically designed for use in the tablesaw. Typically when decking is laid depending on the moisture content and species of the decking material it would either be laid with no gap or the width of a nail between boards. If the decking has just been laid it may not be fully dry (Green), and will shrink in width. Cutting a kerf between each board would result in excessive gaps over time.
